Oceanside Earns First Place at Vista
The Oceanside High School Marching Band & Pageantry competed yesterday at the 30th Annual Vista Invitation Field Tournament at Vista High School. Despite the wettest weather the band has had to compete in for several years, they were able to take first place in the 2A Division with a score of 73.4. Additionally, they took the music sweepstakes award, recognizing them for the highest music score of the afternoon portion of the competition.
If you haven't had an opportunity to check out the band's show this year, you still have a few opportunities left, the next being the Ramona High School show in Riverside, California.

Thursday, November 17: 7th Period Pageantry & Percussion... 2:30-4:30pm
Saturday, November 19: Competition at Ramona in Riverside
Sunday, November 20: Overnight trip to Magic Mountain.
