Assistant Band Director, Visual Caption Head
Hi everyone! I’m Mr. Joey and I teach the marching/visuals you see on the field. I’ve had the privilege of working with the Pirate Regiment for the past four years and am a proud OHS alumnus. I also direct the Indoor Drumline in the winter/spring.
I graduated from SDSU with a degree in Music Education. Believe it or not, my primary instrument is actually voide, but I have a long range of experience in instrumental music as well. I’m Oceanside born and raised. I love to walk around downtown, enjoying all the food and ocean views our town has to offer. I’m super excited for this coming season and can’t wait to meet you all at band camp!
