My name is Olivia Zahniser. I oversee all things percussion at OHS. I have marched with Gold, Crossmen and Dark Sky Percussion. I am an OHS alumni and Mira Costa College alumni. I have my AA in Percussion Performance and am working on my bachelors at SDSU in Music Performance. My favorite thing to do outside of music is be in nature with my partner Benjamin.
Percussion has a spot for anyone! Show up to band camp with an open mind to leadn a new instrument and sticks if you have them. We have sticks and mallets if you don’t. Percussion also welcomes piano players and orchestra members.
